Look Development and Lighting on several projects (features and episodics) including Netflix’s The Electric
State, Marvel’s The Secret Invasion, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, Ms Marvel, and Spider-Man: No Way Home
using Maya/Vray/Redshift and Houdini/Solaris/Redshift and Nuke – look development on digidoubles, props and
vehicles, lighting for both vfx and full-CG shots.

Co-Owner and Head Chocolate Maker – LetterPress Chocolate (3/2014 – 8/2021) Los Angeles, CA
Grew the company into a tourist destination with over $800k in annual sales and worldwide distribution into
more than 400 specialty stores. Manufactured award-winning chocolate bars and hired employees to give tours
and assist with production. Sourcing cacao beans from Latin America and Africa, developed roasting profiles
and chose equipment, technical writing instructions and policy procedures for employees, provided detailed
feedback to equipment manufacturers for prototype equipment. Branding and packaging design in Illustrator.

Senior Color&Lighting TD – Sony Pictures Imageworks (1/2011 – 11/2018) Culver City, CA
Sequence lighting on Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse which won an Academy Award for Best Animated
Film. Lighting Lead on Hotel Transylvania, designing lighting and comp templates and a unique comp solution
for the nightclub sequence in which all lighting is accomplished in Nuke. Lighting Lead, look development, and
compositing on “Men in Black III” using Arnold, Katana and Nuke. Created lighting and compositing templates
and assisted lighting artists with Arnold optimizations. Plate prep and stereo compositing with Nuke and Katana.
Lighting and compositing on “Arthur Christmas” and “The Smurfs” using Arnold and Katana.

Look Development TD – ImageMovers Digital (10/2008 – 12/2010) Novato, CA
Look development on “Mars Needs Moms” and “A Christmas Carol” – characters, props, vehicles and
environments using proprietary RenderMan UI. Assisted development of in-house Lookdev tools and materials
standards. Led kickoff meetings across departments to discuss technical requirements. Assisted lighting artists
with optimizing render times and technical issues.

Key lighting on “The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian” Supervised junior lighting artists for same-as and
crowd shots. Coordinated with Layout, Animation, and Compositing departments for the breakdown and lighting
of elements for each assigned shot.

Key lighting on “The Golden Compass”. In charge of key rigs and continuity between multiple shots in
sequences. Assisted lighting artists on same-as shots. Work also included fur wind dynamics, occlusion/shadow
asset creation for plates, and slap comps.

Look development and lighting on “Die Hard 4.0”. Vehicle look development using MentalRay and Photoshop.
Lighting for the fighter jet attack sequence.
